Chester French, the two fellas out of Cambridge, MA have been making a name for themselves. The young dynamic duo of, D.A. Wallach and Max Drummey are signed to Pharrell’s label, Star Trak/Interscope,. Currently they are touring all over the place with Pharrell’s band, N.E.R.D and Common, among others. Chester French teamed up with globally renowned DJ, producer, innovator, Clinton Sparks, on a star-studded mixtape called, Get Familiar with Chester French: Jaques Jams Vol. 1: Endurance, free for download. Endurance is a collection of original tracks, all written, arranged, produced, and engineered by the duo.

The group has acquired a growing celebrity buzz since Love The Future was recorded, so the new Jacques Jams raises the bar, with guest artists like Diddy, Jermaine Dupri, Pharrell, Monáe, Bun B, Talib Kweli , The Clipse, Lady Gaga, and more. The mixtape is a musical masterpiece, produced very well, but you shouldn't expect anything less from guru, Clinton Sparks.


Jacques Jams, Vol. 1: Endurance is unlike a traditional mix-tape wherein a DJ chops up a bunch of new records and throws them on a CD. Clinton Sparks once again has taken mixtapes to a new level complete with skits and interludes that humorously get you familiar with Chester French's story, from Max and D.A.'s freshman year at Harvard to their signing with Star Trak/Interscope records after hip-hop heavyweights like Kanye West competed to sign them in one of the biggest bidding wars in music industry history.

1.)On a trip to Bolivia, Kenny purchases an exotic cat — a Jaguar! He named it Kevin and it now resides in Biloxi Zoo.

2.)Kenny had a chewing tobacco named after him: “Powers’ Chew,” making “I spit it,you suck it!” the most popular ad slogan of the year.

3.)Kenny holds an honorary fourth degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

4.)Kenny is proud to say that he has never once drunk a glass of water.

5.)While playing for Seattle, Kenny ran for sheriff and won! He was relieved of his duties two weeks later.

UK-based Prince Fatty has quite the name to go along with his reggae sound. Here is an exclusive remix/download of rock 'n roll cross-pollinator, Manu Chao's, ditty "A Cosa" off Radiolina . Prince Fatty "smokes out" the original with his dub-based and tropical remedies. His latest CD Survival of the Fattest on Rasa Music/Mr. Bongo, released in 2008, is a great album.

A Collection of Like-minded Individuals Across the Globe, Galvanized by "The Muzik"

Her first U.K. single, "The Muzik", by Ebony Bones has been playing all over lately. However the track will be officially released on May 11th. Here is a video made up of fan submissions, represented by 30 directors from all across the globe. Inspired by the idea of an abstract collaboration with “a collective of like-minded individuals all galvanized by, “The Musik”. These followers were armed with nothing more than a camera phone or digital camera, along with a lot of imagination.

Ebony Bones sound is a British post-punk/tropical throwback abundant with cowbells and horns.This is a preview for her debut album, now officially called "Bone of My Bones". Fellow Brits can purchase "Bone of My Bones" from the PIAS /Sunday Best Label, in June but people in the States will have to wait a bit longer, with a release timed for early fall. Read more
