Michael Vick and Dead Mr. Ed Up for Reality TV Shows

Michael Vick is broke, and he's about to get out of prison. Wouldn't you be worried? Well not if you were offered $600K from and undisclosed TV network. Yes, that's right, Michael Vick apparently fits the model to star in your REALITY TV show.

Mr. Ed the beloved television horse who wooed audiences in the 50’s TV sitcom that bore his name is back, but in spirit alone…so far.

The Estate of Mr. Ed would like to exhume the body of the horse for a new reality series entitled ‘Dead Mr. Ed’. The program would consist of Mr. Ed’s whisperer moving his bones and decaying flesh to various rodeos throughout the Southwest in an effort to further monetize the fame of the fallen beast.

“We feel that it will be an important part of TV’s weekly line-up,” said Sandy Bantracter, CEO of Bantracter Management of West Hollywood CA, and Executor of the Estate of Mr. Ed. “There is no better way to teach today’s children how much joy dead animals can bring us without bringing America's favorite dead animal to them."

Dismal Home Opener for Bronx Bombers

Yesterday's home opener for the New York Yankees marked the inaugural season, in their $1.5 billion cathedral. Loyal fans watched as newbies CC Sabathia, Mark Teixeira, and Nick Swisher officially broke in their pinstripes with pride.

"I have not been part of something that awesome before," Swisher said. "Not only bringing back all the greats from the past, but to open the Stadium, looking around and not seeing one empty seat -- the national anthem gave me goosebumps. I was proud to be a part of that."

Legendary Hall of Famer, Yogi Berra, delivered the ceremonial first pitch, and Babe Ruth's bat from his maiden home run in the first game at the original Yankee Stadium on April 18, 1923 was placed on home plate. Johnny Damon recorded the first hit, and Jorge Posada knocked the first home run.

However, the 10-2 shellacking served by the Cleveland Indians quickly put a damper on my day. Leaving a feeling of resentment towards the first game in the new stadium, proving how impatient Yankees fans are. We throw down big bucks and expect great results. Also during the game I was informed that one of my favorite Bronx Bombers, Xavier Nady, was placed on the 15 day DL...GRRRREEEEEAAAAT... even the Bleacher Creatures had something to say.

"We have the greatest fans on earth" - Derek Jeter

Upon waking up today, I immediately looked up to see a faded picture of Uncle Sam. Scary right? Quickly I found myself smiling because I was looking at the American League Champions pennant for the
1957 New York Yankees. History set deep in my mind, reading names like Mantle, Berra, Ford, and Stengel (MGR). All of whom are considered Yankee "gods" by baseball fans worldwide. (The Yanks lost in 7 games to the Milwaukee Braves in the World Series that year.) Sad story, but after taking all that in after moments of waking, it sparked faith that the Yankees will win today.

"Survivalist" Will Ferrell Drinks His Own Urine

Funny guy Will Ferrell is crawling into the extreme trenches with Bear Grylls for an upcoming episode of Discovery Channel's "Man vs. Wild." Discovery announced Ferrell's guest stint, set to air in June, at its Wednesday upfront presentation in Los Angeles. Also the presentation will be the last of its upfront showcases around the country.

In the "Man vs. Wild" episode, Ferrell joins Grylls in the far north of Sweden, where they spend 48 hours performing tasks such as rappelling down hundred-foot frozen waterfalls, tandem-abseiling off a helicopter and staying warm overnight in subzero temperatures. The two also find food in the forest, improvise snow shoes and drink their own urine.

"Will did an amazing job in subzero, very unforgiving conditions," Grylls said. "He trusted me when it mattered, and we survived. ... He should be very proud of how he performed."

Ferrell called the stint on "Man vs. Wild" "a thrill of a lifetime, even though I did get urine-drunk, which is sad."

Discovery Channel prexy-general manager John Ford noted that the duo not only share a snow shelter but eat reindeer eyeballs together. "That says it all," Ford said.

This will be a great site to see...
