Now you NEVER have to bother giving out your number OR remembering someone's ever again! There is new tool called .tel and it's amazing!
A .TEL (dot tel) name is an individual ID that is used to pass all of your contact information, including telephone numbers, fax, web site, e-mail and location to a friend, client or business contact, using a single, easy to remember name, like Smith.tel or Rentals.tel (try them in your browser or on your smartphone to see).
Find out if your name is still available or get the whole story by visiting www.webnmames.ca/tel

I Ain't Going Down Like You Suckas

In case you haven't yet picked up UK electro-grime-rap ingenue Lady Sovereign's new album Jigsaw, here's extra proof that her talent and appeal far exceeds her pixie size. She brings the saucy attitude and raw sound coming off London's streets once again...
"In this recession-friendly jam, "Pennies", electro-house producer Kill the Noise has tweaked the drum and bass, oozed in some swirling synths, added whistle affects, infused some guitar and voila! The result is what KTN describes as “one part British female MC, one part 808 dirty south drum programming, and one part heavy guitar processing.” Add that up, it’s 100% great." via RCRD LBL.

No You Girls Remixes

“No You Girls” is the latest single from Franz Ferdinand and it shows us that someone at their label got some great taste in music since remixes were commissioned from NYC funky disco outfit The Juan Maclean and Danish techno god Trentemöller.
The Juan Maclean gives us a strutty disco remix with lots of quirky sounds, all while Trentemöller keeps it dark, stripped down and teasing us with a mighty buildup... via Discobelle

Bringing The Funk

I came across the funkified Australian duo J Goon & Fresney over at Electric Zoo. J Goon &Fresney are still keeping things on the downlow right now, so no links to MySpace or anything, just two very good hip hop bootlegs. They fuse pulsing rhythms with hip hop beats that will funk you up.
