Coldplay Go 'Rave"



Worlds have collided, " Coldplay's Chris Martin and his bunch of singing boys are recording a new track that sounds like it's going to be very different from their normal output, its going to be nearly the speed of a drum and bass track." via."They're currently in the studio with drummer Will Champion, who has "been trying to push the four-piece in a new direction." Quite why, I'm not sure.

This new direction sounds, well, interesting. Apparently Champion has been tinkering with a new drum machine and has created a "thundering, 168-beats-per-minute banger of a track." - Matt Brawn of Current TV

WORLD PREMIERE...Video for Raekwon's street single "New Wu" featuring Ghostface and Method Man", off of the upcoming album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II, coming out August 11th from EMI.




To me anything about the Wu-Tang Clan is worth making note of. Ghostface Killah and Method Man uniting on a Raekwon track, shredding with their lyrics like a Hattari Hanzo sword..."All my n****s take a toke of this weed, let it begin...Ya'll know what it do, brand new, back from the slums it be the Wu,..." It's as if we all have been for them to get gully on some bars. I understand that they all needed to do their own thing but I'm happy to seem them teaming up, producing that all-star sound that anyone can respect. Read more
