Asian Hand Gestures

It recently came to my attention that Digg founder Kevin Rose had written this interesting tweet:

This pose, like many other poses featured on this site (Asian Poses), is frequently used by everyone regardless of race. This gesture creates the word “OK” using your fingers. To create the “O”, join your index finger and thumb, such that it forms a circle. The “K” is created with your remaining fingers extended. The palm of your hand should be facing outwards and your hand can be brought near your face if you wish.

For further reading, you can take a look at the Okay hand gesture described on Wikipedia.

"I thought this video did a great job explaining three Asian hand gestures. The video was uploaded more than a year ago and it certainly goes into more depth into the v-sign than I did. I wonder if more poses would be added in a future video?" via Asian Poses
