Arrested Mid-hairdo

A 25-year-old Evansville man was arrested Wednesday when he stepped out of a South Side barbershop to conduct an apparent drug deal, police said.

Marcus T. Bailey, 25, was actually being sought on a parole warrant when authorities arrived at 952 Washington Avenue and found him in a car with two other people and about 21 grams of crack cocaine, said Evansville Police Department Spokesman Steve Green. Bailey was apparently having his hair braided inside when he stepped out, Green said.

Taking Too Long

A Cop pulls gun at McDonalds because order was "Taking too long"...

A Denver police officer has been suspended after allegedly brandishing his gun at a McDonald's restaurant in Aurora after his order took too long to fill.

Aurora police confirmed the CBS4 investigation saying the incident occurred May 21 at the McDonald's at 18181 East Hampden Avenue.

A spokesperson for the Aurora Police Department said they plan to present the case -- now classified as a felony menacing incident -- to the Arapahoe County District Attorney's Office Thursday for possible filing of criminal charges.

Sources familiar with the case, and the fast food worker's account of what happened, say two off-duty Denver police officers placed an order from their car in the early morning hours of May 21. But once at the drive through window, the employee said the men became agitated and angry at how long their food was taking. The men thought they were being ignored, according to contacts familiar with the worker's account. The male clerk then said one of the officer's flashed his police badge and pointed a pistol through the drive through window in a threatening manner, before driving off without paying.

Both officers are assigned to Denver International Airport although only one has been placed on administrative leave with pay, pending the outcome of the case.

Ready For The Weekend

Calvin Harris has set the release date (August 17th) for his album Ready For The Weekend. Many of you have already heard the first single "I'm Not Alone" and some may have also seen the Coca Cola's new advertising mentioning his track "Yeah Yeah Yeah, La La La". Three other tracks, "Relax", "Worst Day" and the latest initiative, "Ready For The Weekend" have been confirmed for the album as well. The latter track was released last Friday, when Pete Tong played "RFTW" on his BBC Radio 1 show. It has also been confirmed that High Contrast, Dave Spoon and Fake Blood are to remix the forthcoming single.

Calvin Harris has this to say about the following about single:
"It’s different to the first single. It’s still happy, dancey, with more singing. The hook’s sung by a woman called Mary Pearce, who’s a diva. She’s got this great big voice and it’s like a nod to an old dance classic. I love underground dance music but I also have an extreme love of commercial dance music. But only the good stuff."
