Next up in the Palms Out Sounds Summer music drive is a name that has been catching eyes and ears around the world for the past few months whilst spearheading the "filter-nu-house-diso-french-revivalist" movement. Sheffy Funk

This mix is my absolute jam right now, Shake Aletti's Lunch Break Funk Vol.1 is infused with Sheffield funk and electronic bop, it's the perfect remedy to turn a frown upside down and keep summer beaming. The mixtape takes you through what I can only assume are their inspirations and influences for what the boys do at the moment, which is interesting to hear and gets me pretty excited for upcoming stuff from the Aletti. I've discovered some excellent disco-pop tunes on it (that I've been scouring everywhere for now) while having it bopping away as a soundtrack to when I'm having a BBQ, or avoiding the rain, or even, on my lunchbreak. I suggest you do the same.
