Beastie Boys Get It In with The Roots

One of my favortie groups of alltime the, Beastie Boys, have been all over the place lately. In addition to headlining all the festivals, the guys are systematically re-releasing their discography this year, while also promising a new LP awesomely titled Hot Sauce Committee. Instead of the new, the Beasties used their Fallon appearance to plug their recent Check Your Head reissue by doing "So What'cha Want" with the The Roots at their back on Late NightJimmy Fallon May 25, 2009.

It's a logical choice as the album's signature song, but also offers a surreptitious tease to the future when MCA's all "cool as a cucumber in a bowl of hot sauce." The Beastie Boys continue their catalog-reissue parade with an Ill Communication release on July 14th (preorders start July 6 on beastieboys.com).
