"After what seems like an eternity waiting and the internet rumour-mill churning out speculation left, right and centre, Activision's announced that DJ Hero is due to be released sometime in the Autumn. (read: probably *just* in time for Xmas...)
Rumours have been circulating for months as to who's been involved in the game's development with hip-hop legend DJ Shadow and Dance superstar Tiesto both being rumoured as helping out. But, according to Activision's press release, DJ Hero will include "hip-hop, R&B, Motown, electronica and dance," and will let turntablists create "original mixes" of their songs. Although they haven't let on how the hell you're supposed to control it...
Other titles Activision are lining up are a "family-friendly Band Hero game," as well as a Guitar Hero 5 followup, all due for release sometime this Autumn.
