Recently Phish reunited for the first time in 5 years by playing three concerts at Hampton Coliseum, or “The Mothership,” as phans refer to it. Shortly after the three sold-out shows in March, many grassroots, homemade, videos of the concerts started to appear on YouTube.
These videos, shot by unknown Phish fans, were released on the web for the world to see and download. Shot in entirely High-Definition, this is an impressive accomplishment, bringing Phish’s live show to your PC. As impressive as this might be it still violates Phish’s recording policy. Phish has always allowed fans to freely record and distribute audio recordings from their concerts. Video is not allowed under the bands Taping Policy.
