Nacional Records is proud to announce the June 23rd release of ZZK Sound Vol. 2 from Buenos Aires-based DJ collective Zizek. Fresh off a recent lengthy U.S. tour that culminated at Coachella, Zizek continues to expose their genre-bending fusions to the globe.
Zizek began as a weekly party in Buenos Aires for experimental DJs to collaborate and fuse Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Electronica, and Cumbia sounds. Since, blossoming into a successful worldwide phenom, receiving praise from tastemaker Diplo to The New York Times.
In many cities of the world there are Zizek ambassadors: Sonido del Principe in Rotterdam, Oro11 in LA, Douster in Lyon, Uproot Andy in New York and Meneo in Barcelona! an audiovisual duet that takes 8 bit sounds and visuals to the edge of the craziest electro reggaeton that people are listening to around the world. For those who don't know who Meneo! is, we recommend listening to "La Licuadora", the super hit included in the ZZK Sound Vol. 2.
